Their second funny idea, this is the mouse size. With its 11.5 cm from end to end, it is neither short (the notebook mice are 9 cm) or classic (13.5 cm for the Ikari Laser). Logitech had already had the same bad idea on their M705. We confirm that the presence of a Razer logo does not change our bad impression. It's too long to be compact, too short to be comfortable. The palm of the hand rests on the desk, it's anything but good for her. Nevertheless, if you like mouse control with the fingertips, with the palm on the desk is his position.

A "back to basics", it also means removing buttons under the thumb? Pity ! We find indispensable for browsing the internet in particular ...

In short, qu'aimons-us? Its good quality coating and very nice. Otherwise, for little more expensive, there is the much better G500 ...

How original! No driver required, return the Abyssus: two sliding buttons to adjust its exchange rate and resolution on the fly!
It's smart, it works quickly and it requires no technical skill or patience. The problem is the proposed jumps. On the left, there is a choice between 125 and 1000 Hz. There is no in between. Out to 1000 Hz, choice of many players since the mouse then gives its position every 1 ms instead of 8 ms, the CPU consumption is soaring; up to 60%, with frequent passages between 30 and 40% on our machine with an Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2 GHz. Therefore, when we choose, we recommend switching to a frequency of 500 Hz only. It is less greedy and always very responsive. There, that's not possible.
Same problem with the resolution. It goes directly from 450 dpi (very slow!) To 1600 dpi (very quick!) Or 3500 dpi (useless limit so it goes fast, it's just useless marketing).
Clearly, these levels are poorly defined ...

positive

  • Belle finition
  • Des caractéristiques splus poussées que sur les souris de base
  • Réglage possible sans driver

negative

  • Paliers proposés insuffisants
  • Taille peu confortable
  • Pas de bouton sous le pouce

   CONCLUSION 3/5

If '' back to basics '' means Abyssus, we finally prefers not basic ... Give us back our buttons and missing centimeters!
